How to microwave popcorn

It’s easier than you think!

Pour a 1/4 cup of popcorn kernels into a paper bag, and fold the top of the bag over. Stick it in the microwave for 3 minutes and listen for the pops. When you hear significant delays between the pops as the timer approaches the end, take it out to avoid burning the popcorn.

And that’s it! Pour into a bowl and mix in your favorite toppings:

  • Butter + salt (if you’re feeling classic)
  • Cinnamon + sugar (if you’re feeling sweet)
  • Nutritional yeast + cayenne pepper (if you’re feeling low on B12)
  • Parmesan + garlic + parsley (if you’re feeling extra fancy)
